Hapkido
Hapkido is a self-defense system that combines various forms of Korean martial arts, including TAEKYON (the precursor to Taekwondo), YU SOUL (the precursor to Korean Judo), and KUNG JUNG MOO SOUL (Korean royal martial art). The Hapkido training program includes a wide range of techniques: 3800 attack and defense techniques, 20 basic kicks, 77 special kicks, 15 falling techniques, as well as the study of weapons such as short stick, medium stick, long stick, cane, rope, dagger, fan, etc. Hapkido remains a traditional martial art that does not focus on competition. It is recognized by most presidential bodyguards and other security forces around the world.
