Master Denis Faure, who achieved the rank of 4th Dan in 2022, discovered Taekwondo late in life at the age of 25, and it was an instant revelation for him. But much more than just practising the martial art, it's teaching and sharing an inexhaustible passion that has brought him fulfilment.

After obtaining his 1°Dan in 1999 under the tutelage of Maître Christian Segui, it was only logical that he should pass the exam for the state diploma in sports education (brevet d'état d'éducateur sportif 1° degrés) in 2002 to continue not only to progress but, of course, to guide his pupils along the magnificent path that is the martial arts.

It was at this time that he met the great Maître Rémi Mollet (a friend of Maître Christian Segui) and began his apprenticeship in Hapkido, of which he is currently a 2°Dan holder.

Maître Denis Faure set up his own school of Korean martial arts, " The Sabertooth Tigers ", which is a tribute to Maître Christian Segui, in Zurich in 2015, and in 2021 realised his dream of owning his own Dojang.

And it was in 2023 that, after many ups and downs, his hard work was rewarded when one of his students was awarded a 1st Dan black belt.

Grand-Maitre Rémi Mollet no longer needs to be introduced, such is his international renown in the world of martial arts. The many awards and titles he has received throughout his martial arts career, which began 50 years ago, bear witness to a life dedicated to spreading the noble art of Taekwondo, as well as Hapkido and Taekwonkido, throughout the world.

He is the founder of the "Cénacle Rémi Mollet", which brings together a multitude of clubs (more than 1,300 members in France and abroad, not counting "sympathiser" clubs) that follow the technical direction and philosophical path of the martial arts taught by the Master.

A teacher of classics in a secondary school, he is known and recognised by his peers, and is the author of a number of books, including Le Hapkido, art martial coréen d'autodéfense and Le guide du Taekwondo. He also regularly writes articles for journals and magazines specialising in the various martial arts.

His work was completed in 2022 with the publication by Budo éditions of the encyclopaedia of Taekwondo, the fruit of a lifetime devoted to practising, reflecting on and sharing a luminous passion.

In short, the Master is the very embodiment of the famous quote: "A fiery spirit in a muscular body".
